About Linda Rasip
I’m Linda Rasip, a technologist, mentor, and believer that technology should serve people — not the other way around. As an impact-driven CTO, I build systems and communities that connect empathy with innovation, helping others — especially women in tech — grow into purposeful leaders. Through my reflections, frameworks, and real-world lessons, I share how design thinking, humility, and courage can turn ideas into impact.

Who I Am
I’m Haslinda “Linda” Rasip — a technologist at heart, a mentor by calling, and a lifelong believer that impact begins with empathy.
My journey into technology wasn’t just about learning how systems work — it was about understanding how people do. I’ve always been drawn to how design, data, and empathy intersect to solve real-world problems.
At every stage of my career, one truth has remained constant:
Technology should serve people — not the other way around.
I’m a quiet builder — I find joy in creating frameworks, guiding teams, and watching ideas turn into something that improves lives. But I’m also reflective; I believe in pausing to ask “Why are we building this?” before asking “How fast can we launch it?”
What I Believe In
I believe that impact is felt, not shown.
It’s not vanity metrics or headlines — it’s when a system we built makes someone’s workday easier, a small business grows a little faster, or a woman in tech dares to lead differently.
My work and my reflections are guided by four anchors:
Empathy first — always design from human stories.
Impact over noise — create results that last.
Purposeful growth — build sustainably, not endlessly.
Community and trust — because real change is never done alone.

What I Do
Professionally, I’m the Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder of Borong (formerly Dropee) — a Malaysian B2B procurement-as-a-service platform that connects corporations and SMEs through digital trade.Through Borong, I’ve led teams delivering large-scale digital transformation projects for organizations such as PETRONAS and Shell, alongside national programs empowering small and rural entrepreneurs to thrive in Malaysia’s digital economy.
Beyond Borong, I founded Jooblii Commerce — a digital consultancy and CTO-as-a-Service practice — and Beta Foundation, a platform that bridges innovation, inclusion, and mentorship across Southeast Asia.
I also have a deep love for design thinking and believe that creativity and structure can coexist beautifully. Over the years, I’ve helped architect citizen-wide innovation programs such as MyHackathon, conducted workshops and training for product and tech teams, and provided mentorship and coaching to emerging CTOs, CPOs, and women in technology.
Across all of these, my mission stays the same:
To build technology with empathy, impact, and purpose — and to empower others to do the same.
Beyond Work
I’m currently pursuing my Doctorate (DBA) in B2B E-Commerce Lead Generation through Design Thinking, researching how empathy-driven frameworks can shape smarter business and more inclusive digital systems.
It’s my way of blending practice and theory — to study not just how technology works, but how it connects.
